About the Role
You will build and ship services that connect Aescape to third-party booking platforms. You will establish the infrastructure for integration services, implement three booking-platform integrations, collaborate with backend and infrastructure colleagues, document the setup, and hand off a low-maintenance solution at the end of the engagement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with recent production Golang experience
- Experience building and shipping third-party API integrations in production
- Experience taking a service from skeleton to production and handing it off with clear documentation
- Experience working with inconsistent or thinly documented vendor APIs
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure setup for backend services
- Experience working independently with high ownership
- Be based in the United States and able to work as a 1099 independent contractor
- Be available during core Eastern Time business hours from 11am to 5pm ET
Responsibilities
- Review service and infrastructure templates and set up a skeleton Go service
- Set up infrastructure for third-party integration services
- Implement three third-party booking platform integrations
- Communicate with the general third-party booking integration service
- Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams and provide feedback
- Create an infrastructure maintenance plan and hand off the work
