Skills
About the Role
You will support and project manage C-suite search assignments in close partnership with GA's portfolio talent team, portfolio company management teams, and GA investment professionals. Where appropriate, you will independently run searches for portfolio companies, including identifying, sourcing, and qualifying senior executives. You'll help scope senior roles, develop position specifications, and research new industries, market segments, and competitive landscapes to map talent ecosystems. Using a pre-defined spec, you will build a research strategy that outlines targeted industries and companies, and you'll become an expert on the markets and talent pools you research. You will proactively engage, assess, and introduce qualified executives to GA investment professionals and portfolio companies, while building an evolving external network of potential future talent. You'll also support quantitative and qualitative management assessments to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities, identify chances to syndicate processes across the portfolio for shared best practices and cost synergies, and leverage global tools such as scorecards, interview guides, and competency models. When external search firms are engaged, you will coordinate the search process, including firm screening, spec and scorecard development, preliminary interviews, and collating candidate feedback.
