About the Role

You will design and own reusable BI data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, data-quality processes, and dashboards. You will define KPIs, translate stakeholder needs into durable data solutions, improve data architecture, and analyze complex business questions. You will mentor colleagues and evaluate AI-powered BI capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience or master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
Data modeling
Database and warehouse design
SQL
Python
Pandas or PySpark
ETL/ELT pipeline development
Data quality and validation
BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QuickSight
Dashboard development
Mentoring engineers or analysts
Agile methodology
AI-assisted coding and productivity tools
AI output validation

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own source-of-truth BI data models
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
Translate stakeholder reporting needs into durable data models and pipelines
Define and maintain business KPIs using SQL and Python
Build data-quality checks, validation processes, and documentation
Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations
Improve data-platform architecture and legacy pipelines
Design secure and scalable source-system data access paths
Mentor data engineers and analysts
Cultivate data literacy through documentation and training
Answer complex business questions through ad hoc SQL and Python analysis
Review AI-assisted development output before production use
Evaluate and implement AI/LLM-powered BI capabilities where valuable
