About the Role
You own procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes across two entities, manage accounts payable and receivable, implement finance systems and automations, control corporate spending, maintain accurate general ledgers, lead bank and onchain reconciliations, support month-end close and reporting, and strengthen financial controls.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with 3–5 years of public and industry experience
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience in accounting, financial management, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with Xero or a comparable platform such as QuickBooks
- Experience with Airtable and automation-friendly databases
- Ability to build and integrate accounting systems
- Ability to work with AI and agentic systems
- Familiarity with blockchain and digital assets
- Experience in a fast-moving startup or quickly scaling company
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Own procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes end to end
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements
- Lead the onboarding of an expense management and bill pay platform
- Integrate agentic procurement and automate accounts receivable
- Manage corporate cards and the expense programme
- Review employee and company spending
- Ensure financial information is accurately reflected in the general ledger across both entities
- Prepare balance sheet and asset reconciliations
- Reconcile bank transactions and onchain wallet activity
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare budget-versus-actual reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Monitor processes, procedures, and controls
- Identify control weaknesses and build corrective controls
