About the Role
You will own identity and access controls, endpoint security, AI-agent and untrusted-code protections, compliance work, incident response, physical security, and office networking. You will run SOC 2 audits, vendor reviews, and customer security questionnaires, and build the security program from the ground up.
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT security or security engineering with hands-on ownership of identity, endpoints, and corporate systems.
- Experience running SOC 2 audits and enterprise customer security reviews.
- Strong understanding of AI security and AI-agent threat models.
- Physical security experience with access-control systems and facility security.
- Experience building a security program from scratch.
- Experience at an AI lab or with ML research environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-infrastructure and CI/CD-pipeline security.
Responsibilities
- Manage identity and access controls, including MFA, SSO, account lifecycle, and device trust.
- Manage device security, including device management, EDR, hardening, and patching.
- Limit AI-agent and untrusted-code access to laptops, accounts, and cloud resources.
- Run SOC 2 compliance, vendor reviews, and customer security questionnaires.
- Handle incident response, physical security, and office networking.
