About the Role
You will assess applications, embedded systems, backend services, and integrations; build secure-development-lifecycle tooling; and design mitigations for security weaknesses. You will build vulnerability-prevention frameworks, hunt insecure coding patterns, and promote security and user privacy.
Requirements
- Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability research, security assessment, secure coding, security architecture, design, or hardware security
- Strong software engineering skills in C, C++, Rust, Golang, Python, or similar
- Experience securing embedded systems, including secure boot, secure identity, or OTA
- Foundation in web security, mobile security, or cryptography
- 3+ years of application security or related security experience
- Ability to collaborate, prioritize work, and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of applications, embedded systems, backend services, and business integrations
- Build tooling for a secure development lifecycle
- Design and implement mitigations for robot and service-stack security weaknesses
- Build frameworks and systems that prevent vulnerability classes
- Hunt vulnerabilities and insecure coding patterns in backend and robot systems
- Champion security and user privacy
