About the Role

You will lead the sanctions compliance program and support export-controls oversight. You will set policy and risk standards, assess and remediate risks, govern screening controls, manage regulator-facing matters, advise business teams, report to leadership, and develop compliance professionals.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience leading an economic sanctions compliance program
• Experience with OFAC, EU, UK, or other sanctions regimes
• Experience managing voluntary self-disclosures, blocking reports, reject reports, or regulator filings
• Experience assessing sanctions risk and leading remediation
• Experience governing restricted-party screening
• Working knowledge of US export controls, EAR, and BIS rules
• Experience partnering with legal counsel on trade controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Lead the sanctions compliance strategy, policies, risk appetite, and roadmap
• Represent sanctions and export controls with senior and cross-functional stakeholders
• Assess sanctions risk and deliver remediation and program enhancements
• Direct voluntary disclosures, reports, licensing questions, and regulatory responses
• Govern restricted-party screening and enforcement controls
• Serve as the escalation point for complex sanctions matters
• Advise teams on sanctions implications of expansion, products, partnerships, and acquisitions
• Support export controls program oversight
• Report program health, risks, and emerging issues to governance forums
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement required changes
• Lead, mentor, and develop compliance team members
