About the Role
You will develop algorithms, systems, and architecture for high-degree-of-freedom manufacturing robots. You will define software requirements, execute proof-of-concept projects, test robotics techniques, maintain deployed software, prototype sensors, and iterate on the software stack.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field
- 2+ years of industry experience developing, implementing, and testing planning, learning, perception, or control algorithms
- Experience developing software that interacts with sensor inputs and control loops
- Production-level C++ and Python proficiency
- Proficiency with ROS2 and relevant open-source robotics libraries
- Meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms, systems, and architecture for high-DOF robotic systems
- Define robotics software feature requirements for R&D projects
- Execute proof-of-concept projects
- Evaluate planning, learning, perception, and control algorithms
- Maintain coding practices that support product integration
- Maintain software features and versioning for government-facility deployments
- Modify and iterate on the software stack
- Prototype inspection sensors, tools, and processes
- Partner with software engineers on new ideas and methods
