About the Role
You will build, configure, test, troubleshoot, install, and commission robotics-driven automation systems in the shop and at customer sites. You will validate performance, document work and lessons learned, support product deployments and system refurbishment, and follow standardized safety procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial 6-axis robots
- 3+ years of industrial machinery installation and commissioning experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50–60%
- Hand-tool proficiency
- PC and general technical proficiency
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Responsibilities
- Support mechanical and electrical system integration
- Perform quality checks, testing, program updates, troubleshooting, FAT, and final pack-out
- Install and commission solutions at customer sites
- Perform mechanical installation, power-up, testing, fine-tuning, and performance validation
- Support refurbishment and reconditioning of returned systems
- Identify improvements during testing, commissioning, and production deployments
- Follow standardized processes, tools, SOPs, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and integration partners
- Support early-stage product deployments
- Provide diagnostics and troubleshooting for newly deployed products
- Document lessons learned and develop deployment procedures and best practices
