About the Role
You will operate Mech systems at customer sites, troubleshoot and resolve issues, validate fixes, deliver operational reporting, support training, deploy software and hardware features, manage maintenance logistics, and document operational knowledge.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting skills across electromechanical systems, pneumatics, drives, sensors, and industrial robotics
- Linux command-line, log-analysis, and basic Python and SQL debugging skills
- Familiarity with Jira, Zendesk, and knowledge-base platforms
- Experience managing spares, RMAs, and supply-chain or service coordination
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in field service, product support, or hardware debugging in robotics, automation, or complex electromechanical systems
- Ability to perform warehouse service tasks, including equipment access, lifting, and calibration
- Availability for extended hours or on-call rotations for high-severity incidents
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day Mech system operations during customer pilots
- Operate Mech and materials-handling systems safely
- Manage package exceptions and daily workflows
- Identify, report, troubleshoot, validate, and track issues to closure
- Provide internal KPI updates and customer-facing operations reports
- Align pilot schedules and train customer users
- Execute software upgrades, downgrades, and test activities
- Manage spares, tools, maintenance equipment, and preventive maintenance
- Build operational, troubleshooting, and reporting knowledge bases
