About the Role
You will validate software releases on physical humanoid robots, run regression and policy evaluations in simulation and on hardware, and maintain reliable test data and performance reporting. You will help expand automated testing and investigate differences between simulated and real-world results.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software test engineering or test automation experience
- Python scripting and test automation proficiency
- Ability to read C++
- Working knowledge of ROS2
- Linux and Ubuntu experience
- Shell scripting and basic system administration
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end release validation pipelines
- Run automated and manual regression suites
- Triage test failures and route them to owners
- Contribute tests to CI/CD pipelines
- Design and execute policy evaluations
- Run simulation evaluations in Gazebo and NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- Compare simulation and physical robot results
- Collect performance and reliability metrics
- Maintain pass/fail, latency, and performance dashboards
- Keep test data clean and well labeled
