About the Role
You will build and own hardware-in-the-loop testing, integration workflows, metrics, regression checks, and diagnostic tooling for the controls stack. You will support new hardware bring-up, validate changes on real robots, investigate cross-stack failures, and maintain documentation and runbooks.

- Debugging across software, firmware, and hardware
Responsibilities
- Build and own hardware-in-the-loop and integration test workflows
- Define controller and motion repeatability and accuracy metrics
- Expand controls unit and integration test coverage
- Develop automated regression checks
- Define testability requirements for controls components
- Package controllers into testable interfaces
- Contribute to new hardware bring-up and integration
- Validate changes end-to-end on real robots
- Instrument the controls stack with logging, tracing, and diagnostics
- Reproduce and resolve cross-stack failures
- Maintain controls documentation and runbooks
