About the Role
You will design and produce 3D models and detailed documentation for robotic components using CAD tools. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet technical specifications, iterate on prototypes, create renderings and visualizations, and present concepts to stakeholders. You will manage multiple design projects and meet delivery deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a 3D Designer, preferably in robotics or related industries
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, or Blender
- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with robotics systems and components is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and designs for robotic components and systems using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and requirements
- Create detailed design documentation including assembly instructions and specifications
- Conduct design reviews and revise designs based on feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in robotics and 3D design technology
- Assist in the prototyping process by creating visual representations of concepts
- Work on rendering and visualization to present design concepts to stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional teams to contribute innovative ideas and solutions
