About the Role
You will operate robots through touchscreen interfaces and safely move robots and equipment through shipping containers and trailers. You will perform routine maintenance, monitor tests for functional issues, communicate findings to engineering, and follow confined-space and machinery safety requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in mechanical or technical environments
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn robotics operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work in confined spaces and around moving machinery
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Operate robots through touchscreen interfaces to execute test scenarios
- Drive robots and equipment safely in and out of shipping containers and trailers
- Perform routine robot maintenance, including cleaning lidar sensors and replacing components
- Monitor robot performance during tests and identify functional issues or anomalies
- Communicate test findings to engineering teams
- Collaborate with verification, test, and software engineers on test execution
- Complete confined-space safety training and follow safety requirements
