About the Role
You will configure and optimize robot, robot-hand, AGV, conveyor, camera, and sensor systems. You will create motion and equipment programs, run simulations and tests, validate performance at customer sites, resolve faults, plan system launches, coordinate schedules, demonstrate systems, and propose controller software improvements.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience with machinery or robotic equipment in production engineering, research and development, electrical design, mechanical design, equipment implementation, maintenance, or preservation
- Conversational Japanese
- Willingness to work with English
Responsibilities
- Adjust motion-planning parameters for robots and robot hands
- Configure and tune AGVs, conveyors, cameras, and sensors
- Create operating programs for robots, robot hands, and peripheral equipment
- Conduct simulations
- Validate system operation and resolve issues at customer sites
- Investigate faults and implement countermeasures
- Propose controller software improvements
- Demonstrate robot systems and prepare equipment-use documentation
- Plan onsite launches and coordinate schedules with customers
- Plan and execute internal and onsite robot tests
