About the Role
You will lead the local risk framework for the ADGM entity, including risk identification, mitigation, monitoring, and regulatory reporting. You will align local requirements with the global risk framework, support compliance and governance activities, and serve as the registered Data Protection Officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related quantitative field.
- 5–6 years of Risk Management experience in Financial Services or FinTech.
- Deep understanding of the ADGM and FSRA regulatory environment, including risk and prudential requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable risk reports.
- PRM, FRM, or CRMP certification preferred.
- ACAMS or ICA certification is an advantage.
- Ability to build frameworks from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of internal and external risks affecting the ADGM entity.
- Design and implement local risk mitigation strategies aligned with the global Risk Management Framework.
- Monitor and review risk processes, providing data-driven recommendations to improve business efficiency.
- Act as the primary contact for regulator-mandated risk reports and communicate the local risk appetite and posture to senior management and the Board.
- Partner with Trading, Product, and Marketing to integrate risk-based decision-making into the product lifecycle.
- Ensure policies and procedures meet ADGM and FSRA standards for product governance and market conduct.
- Lead regular audits and monitoring plans to identify and resolve compliance breaches and process gaps.
- Review local marketing campaigns for transparency and regulatory safety.
- Act as the Registered Data Protection Officer and ensure adherence to ADGM Data Protection Regulations.
- Monitor data security measures and conduct privacy impact assessments to prevent and mitigate data breaches.
