About the Role
You will evaluate and manage risks related to platforms, participants, and transactions. You will perform control assessments, audits, spot checks, and remediation activities. You will monitor transaction flows and risk trends, document internal controls and mitigations, conduct vendor and jurisdiction risk assessments, and support internal audit and external reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow remediation plans through to completion.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in risk audit or a closely related field
- Ability to conceptualize abstract concepts and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
- Ability to identify trends and patterns in data
- Experience in financial risk management cryptocurrency settlement custody and markets data security and privacy or fintech product go to market process
- Dependable with solid follow-through
- Self-directed and driven with a desire to dig deeper and learn
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- English language proficiency
- Willingness to work North American hours
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze risks and evaluate internal controls
- Own remediation plans and follow remediation through to completion
- Support internal audit by performing control assessments and spot checks
- Monitor and assess risks from transaction patterns and evolving trends
- Evaluate and document internal controls and required mitigations
- Process and interpret information received by risk and audit teams
- Participate in reviews of data and reports provided to external parties
- Identify risks to be managed and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure regulations rules and policies are followed
- Conduct risk assessments of vendors jurisdictions regulations and services
- Collaborate with various departments as needed
