About the Role
Assist the Finance Manager in scaling a Web3-native accounting and control environment by recording and reconciling fiat and on-chain activity, executing payments, supporting general ledger integrations, preparing consolidation and tax schedules, and maintaining audit readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in a multi-entity or international environment with IFRS experience.
- Ability to execute recurring accounting tasks with strong attention to supporting documentation.
- Ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements for payment runs and balance monitoring.
- Knowledge of blockchain explorers such as Etherscan and experience with or willingness to learn crypto sub-ledgers such as Cryptio, Cryptoworth, or Tres.
- Experience organizing working papers and maintaining a structured audit trail meeting institutional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Record purchase, sales, intercompany, and treasury transactions across fiat and digital asset accounts with accurate coding, VAT/tax treatment, and supporting documentation.
- Perform recurring reconciliations across banks, custodians, exchanges, and on-chain wallets and investigate unmatched items.
- Execute supplier and treasury payments across fiat and digital asset rails following approval workflows.
- Validate links between Web3 accounting software and the general ledger using blockchain explorers to investigate mismatches.
- Prepare entity-level schedules, intercompany reconciliations, and data packs for consolidation, group reporting, and regulatory requests.
- Prepare transaction schedules for VAT and tax filings and maintain an audit-ready evidence trail.
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries to support month-end close.
