About the Role
You will lead and deliver compliance and risk initiatives, design new programs, implement compliance technology, manage regulatory engagements and remediations, and enhance enterprise risk management. You will develop detailed project plans, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, liaise with auditors and regulators, and present clear status updates to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Law or equivalent industry experience
- 5-7 years experience in a regulatory, compliance, or advisory role within a highly-regulated industry
- Experience managing money transmission or commercial lending programs (preferred)
- Familiarity with state money transmission requirements, Reg E, TILA, ECOA, and UDAAP
- Hands-on experience with license management and managing regulatory examinations and audits
- Proven track record managing complex multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion
- Residency in the United States
Responsibilities
- Scale the compliance framework to meet organizational challenges
- Lead compliance projects including regulatory change implementations, internal audit remediation, and policy overhauls
- Enhance the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework
- Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk registers
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Operations, Product, Security, and Finance
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and consultants
- Prepare and present status reports, executive summaries, and steering committee updates
