About the Role
You will maintain risk and compliance policies, controls, documentation, and reporting. You will coordinate audits, assess operational risks, support AML and CFT investigations, manage regulatory and partner relationships, deliver training, and escalate control gaps and fraud signals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business and Economics, or a related field
- French fluency and working English knowledge
- Team-management experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance and risk policies, procedures, and controls
- Advise leadership and report to the board through a specialized committee
- Identify and evaluate operational risks
- Monitor KYC and onboarding controls
- Participate in incident reviews and remediation follow-up
- Support AML and CFT investigations and submit suspicious transaction reports
- Deliver compliance training and guidance
- Manage relationships with partner banks, the BCEAO, and stakeholders
- Prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Supervise field audits, spot checks, and reconciliations
- Escalate audit deficiencies, control breaches, and fraud signals
