About the Role
Own and drive improvements in the analog and RF design of radio products, including RF specifications, subsystem block diagrams, outsourced design vendors, schematic and PCB development, laboratory and field testing, and debugging.
Requirements
- Experience drafting and reviewing RF specifications
- Block-level system design experience
- Vendor or subcontractor management experience
- Familiarity with PCB design considerations for RF circuits
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and debugging
- At least 5 years of experience designing RF circuits and systems
- BS or MS in Electrical or RF Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with wireless communication systems
- Proficiency in Python
Responsibilities
- Draft and review RF specifications
- Produce block diagrams for RF and analog subsystems
- Manage vendors for outsourced RF design projects
- Guide schematic and PCB design for internal development projects
- Conduct lab and field testing
- Debug RF issues in development and production
