About the Role
You will own ASC 606 revenue recognition and monthly and quarterly revenue close. You will review contracts, manage billing operations and receivables, perform reconciliations and analysis, document controls, support audits, coordinate tax treatment, and automate revenue workflows.
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Experience with subscription and usage-based billing models
- Experience with billing and ERP systems such as Orb, Stripe, or NetSuite
- Strong reconciliation skills and advanced Excel
- Experience applying LLMs and AI automation to finance and accounting workflows
Responsibilities
- Own ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Run monthly and quarterly revenue close
- Review customer contracts and determine revenue treatment
- Own billing operations in Orb
- Manage accounts receivable, cash application, and collections
- Perform AR reconciliations, aging analysis, and revenue variance analysis
- Develop and document revenue policies, internal controls, and close procedures
- Support audit and diligence requests
- Coordinate sales tax and VAT treatment
- Leverage AI and automation across revenue workflows
