About the Role
You will engineer and commission modular controls, including PLCs, BMS integration, sensors, and I/O. You will perform point-to-point and loop checks, resolve factory controls issues in real time, document functional tests, and feed manufacturing findings into drawings, logic, and bills of materials.
Requirements
- Hands-on controls engineering or commissioning experience with PLCs, BMS, or industrial automation
- Experience performing point-to-point checkout and loop checks on panels
- Experience working on a shop floor or production line
- Experience supporting production launches or system startups
- Ability to maintain configuration control across drawings, wiring, and logic
- Experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLC programming, data-center BMS platforms, wiring-diagram standards, or instrumentation is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Engineer and commission PLCs, BMS integration, sensors, and I/O
- Inspect controls work on the Phoenix manufacturing line
- Perform point-to-point checkout, loop checks, and first-article functional tests
- Provide real-time controls support and resolve controls RFIs
- Update wiring diagrams, logic, and bills of materials from manufacturing findings
