About the Role
You will conduct original research at the intersection of theory, cryptography, and practical engineering constraints. You will collaborate closely with engineers to translate research into high-performance systems, publish papers and technical reports, partner with external researchers, and ground design decisions in rigorous analysis.
Requirements
- PhD in Cryptography, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with existing research in blockchain adjacent technologies
- 0–2 years of post-PhD experience (Postdocs and upcoming PhDs welcome)
- Strong background in one or more of cryptography, distributed systems, consensus, game theory, or applied mathematics
- Strong curiosity for blockchain and web3 research and motivation to shape production systems and protocols
