About the Role
You will advance LLM-based AI technology across reinforcement learning, interpretability, and AI agents. You will drive a core research thread, prototype initial ideas, explore system architectures and hyperparameters, and design efficient, reliable training and inference pipelines. For senior-level work, you may set code architecture direction and lead projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrate meticulous experimental design, epistemic self-awareness, and transparency
- Balance scrappy prioritization with meticulousness
- Connect low-level planning to high-level goals
- Generate original ideas that unblock progress
- Bring deep domain knowledge in machine-learning research such as interpretability, reinforcement learning, systems performance, or GPUs
- Demonstrate strong programming ability and manage trade-offs between prototyping speed and maintainability
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and openness to feedback
- Maintain a high bar for final results
- Learn quickly from teammates and mentors
Responsibilities
- Drive results on a core research thread
- Identify and execute tactical paths within the broader team strategy
- Prototype initial ideas to find signs of life
- Explore system architecture and hyperparameter design spaces
- Design and implement efficient, reliable training and inference pipelines
- Set code architecture direction, plan, and lead projects for senior-level work
Benefits
- International visa sponsorship
