About the Role
You will advance agentic AI systems with deep scientific reasoning capabilities. You will lead foundational research, define milestones for ambitious research goals, build research artifacts and software systems, publish technical work, mentor early-career researchers, and develop relationships with academic, industry, government, and standards organizations.
Requirements
- PhD in machine learning, reasoning, natural language processing, or a related area
- Expertise in reinforcement learning, experimental methodology, language models, deep learning science, or efficient deep learning algorithms
- Ability to own and pursue a research agenda to improve AI model reasoning capabilities
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Experience leading a team to solve analytical problems
- Contributions to open-source research libraries
Responsibilities
- Advance the science of generative AI and agentic systems in an open-source research environment
- Build artifacts and implement software systems with real-world impact
- Author and present scientific technical reports, papers, and presentations
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers
- Mentor early-career researchers and interns
- Develop collaborative relationships with academic, industrial, government, and standards organizations
