About the Role
You will research reinforcement learning for autonomous driving and robotics, including self-play RL, VLA post-training, neural simulation, imitation learning, and reward learning. You will publish research and partner with engineers to test and deploy algorithms.
Requirements
- Strong research record in reinforcement learning and VLA post-training for autonomous systems and robotics
- Publications in top-tier computer vision, machine learning, or robotics conferences or journals
- MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, autonomy, robotics, or a closely related field
- 1+ year of research experience in autonomy, self-driving, or a related field
- Python, PyTorch, computer vision, robotics systems, and distributed machine-learning training experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct reinforcement-learning research for autonomous driving
- Investigate self-play, VLA post-training, neural simulation, imitation learning, and reward learning
- Collaborate on publications for top-tier conferences
- Test and deploy algorithms with research engineers and engineering teams
