About the Role

You will support high-throughput antibody discovery projects in autoimmune neurology and neurodegeneration. You will design constructs and protein display libraries, clone and validate reagents, execute screens, analyze results, and validate antibody–antigen interactions. You will maintain rigorous documentation, improve discovery workflows, and coordinate experiments with senior lab members and collaborators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, immunology, genetics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant laboratory experience
  • 2+ years of relevant academic or industry experience, including independent undergraduate lab work
  • Hands-on molecular biology research experience
  • Ability to execute multistep experimental protocols accurately, use appropriate controls, and maintain complete laboratory records
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for tracking samples, reagents, and experimental conditions
  • Communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to rigorous, reproducible research
  • Interest in antibody discovery and diagnostic applications
  • Minimum 2-year commitment

Responsibilities

  • Design DNA constructs and protein display libraries
  • Perform molecular cloning, sequence verification, and quality control
  • Prepare reagents and patient samples for antibody discovery workflows
  • Execute high-throughput screens across protein display platforms
  • Process screening data and assess data quality and reproducibility
  • Prioritize and validate antibody–antigen interactions using complementary assays
  • Troubleshoot experiments and optimize discovery methods
  • Maintain experimental records, protocols, inventories, and sample tracking
  • Communicate progress and coordinate experiments with lab members and collaborators
  • Contribute to lab operations, equipment maintenance, and protocol training
