About the Role
You will develop and evaluate task-decomposition methods for robotic manipulation, investigate multimodal sensor fusion, and implement imitation-learning pipelines in simulated and real-world robotic setups. You will help transfer research results into prototypes and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 1.7 on the German scale, or have a GitHub repository with at least 5 stars
- Demonstrate familiarity with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or behavior cloning
- Have hands-on experience with robotic platforms or simulation environments
- Demonstrate Python programming skills
- Be familiar with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate task-decomposition methods for complex robotic manipulation tasks
- Investigate multimodal sensor-fusion techniques for policy learning
- Implement and benchmark imitation-learning pipelines in simulated and real-world robotic setups
- Collaborate to transfer research outcomes to prototype systems
- Document and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
