About the Role
You will define the power delivery architecture for high-density AI racks, from facility input through compute and networking components. You will establish power budgets and requirements, assess power distribution options and thermal impacts, review vendor designs, and support prototype and production builds.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in power architecture for servers, data centers, AI/HPC, or high-density computing systems
- Strong understanding of rack-level power distribution and power conversion topologies
- Experience with high-current power delivery and PDN behavior
- Understanding of data center power infrastructure and power quality requirements
- Experience defining technical requirements for external vendors
- Excellent English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define and allocate rack-level power budgets
- Develop rack power distribution architecture
- Define power delivery requirements with package, silicon, and board teams
- Define transient response and power quality requirements
- Evaluate high-voltage power distribution options and redundancy schemes
- Assess power-density impacts on mechanical and thermal architecture
- Define technical requirements for power vendors and govern their designs
- Support CM/ODM partners through prototype builds and production
