About the Role
You will manage positions and capitalize on trading opportunities. You will monitor and troubleshoot proprietary software and trading infrastructure, analyze and model opportunities using real-world data, and build tools that support trading decisions and risk management. You will collaborate with traders and technologists to solve complex, high-impact problems.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and optimization techniques
- Exposure to data analysis tools such as R, MATLAB, Pandas, and NumPy
- Knowledge of financial markets, algorithmic trading, and market microstructure
- Ability to think critically and communicate complex ideas clearly
- Ability to work in an office
- Experience with kdb+/q, SQL, or other database technologies
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques such as regression, neural networks, or SVMs
