About the Role
Research emerging DeFi innovations, develop proof-of-concepts for market-making strategies and tooling, design liquidity provisioning strategies, perform quantitative analysis of on-chain trading activity, present data-driven recommendations, and manage client relationships and onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years professional experience in trading, quantitative finance, or market making
- Experience in quantitative analysis and data science, preferably with on-chain data or DeFi
- Web3 native with regular use of DeFi protocols
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Python or Rust
- Hands-on software development experience in a quantitative finance environment
- Communications and presentation skills for mixed stakeholder audiences
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with ambitious targets
- Well-organised with strong time management skills

Responsibilities
- Research emerging DeFi protocols and innovations
- Develop proof-of-concepts for market-making strategies and tooling
- Design and refine liquidity provisioning strategies
- Perform quantitative analysis of on-chain trading activity
- Aggregate and analyze on-chain data to inform decisions
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and business development
- Own and manage client relationships and onboarding
- Monitor market-making activities and respond to client requests
- Create internal presentations and data-driven recommendations
