About the Role
You will execute functional, regression, and release tests; write clear test cases; reproduce and document defects; verify fixes; and validate REST APIs and SQL data. You will collaborate to clarify requirements, apply diverse testing methods, and build small scripts or tooling improvements to accelerate testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
- 2+ years of industry QA testing experience
- Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications
- Working knowledge of SQL and REST APIs
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work from written requirements and clarify ambiguity
- Scripting or coding skills in Python or JavaScript
- Exposure to GraphQL or gRPC APIs
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail
- Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or fulfillment
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
Responsibilities
- Stay current on expected product behavior
- Execute functional, regression, and release test cases
- Author clear test cases and improve test coverage
- Reproduce, document, and track defects
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases
- Test REST APIs and validate data with SQL
- Apply functional, negative, boundary, and exploratory testing methods
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify requirements
- Contribute scripts and tooling improvements for repetitive testing
- Use AI tooling to improve testing velocity and quality
