About the Role
Contribute to global analytics pipelines and large-scale distributed trading systems involving historical datasets, high-frequency WebSocket streams, financial time series, and unstructured text data.
Requirements
- Python data-science stack including NumPy, pandas, and Plotly
- Experience manipulating and storing time-series datasets exceeding 1 billion entries
- Object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Concurrent programming for high-frequency live data streams
- Distributed and parallel computing with Ray and Apache Arrow
- Agile environment communication
- Quantitative finance or algorithmic trading knowledge
- Software engineering best practices including testing and version control
- Bash scripting, Linux automation, or networking
- Cloud services at scale including AWS, GCP, or Bluemix
