About the Role
You will design, build, and improve research and production infrastructure for trading. You will develop libraries, backend systems, and workflow tooling in a hybrid Python/C++ environment, translate research workflows into maintainable software, and improve performance and scalability across distributed and cluster-based compute systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Python software engineering experience
- Experience designing, analyzing, and implementing highly algorithmic code
- Experience building production systems in Linux environments
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithmic complexity, and efficient implementation
- Experience with concurrent and distributed systems
- Familiarity with cluster, cloud, or large-scale compute environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent
- Background in research infrastructure, high-performance computing, distributed systems, or performance engineering
- Experience improving bottlenecks, scalability, or migration paths to higher-performance systems
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs with engineers and quantitative users
- Python/C++ interoperability and library development
- Time-series analysis, optimization, simulation, numerical methods, or quantitative workflows

- Support strategy research, testing, and deployment
- Improve system performance, algorithmic efficiency, and scalability across distributed and cluster-based compute environments
- Own projects from design and implementation through testing, rollout, and ongoing improvement
- Evolve platform capabilities and compute infrastructure
