About the Role
You will manage programmatic and portfolio activities for research projects. You will develop sponsor and partner relationships, support project delivery and reporting, establish project-management processes, track costs, manage risks and changes, maintain project controls, and lead project reviews and staff training.
Requirements
- BS in science, engineering, business administration, or industrial-organizational psychology
- At least two years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOE SCI clearance
- Pass pre-placement and ongoing random drug testing
Responsibilities
- Develop collaborative research portfolio opportunities
- Maintain relationships with project sponsors and collaborators
- Support delivery and reporting for research and development projects
- Implement project-management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards
- Track project costs and report to sponsors
- Manage project spending within approved parameters
- Facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing
- Maintain project controls, schedules, cost estimates, risk management, and change control
- Train project staff on project-management processes and systems
- Prepare and lead internal and external project reviews
