About the Role
You will manage day-to-day execution across internal stakeholders, EPC partners, consultants, vendors, engineering, supply chain, construction, and commissioning. You will maintain operating rhythms, track actions and deliverables, manage risks and changes, challenge cost and schedule information, report project status, and drive commissioning and turnover readiness.
Requirements
- 6+ years of project management on data center, mission-critical, or heavy industrial construction programs.
- Owner-side or EPC delivery experience.
- Experience coordinating owners, EPC partners, and vendors and driving open items to closure.
- Knowledge of GMP, lump-sum, and EPC construction contracts.
- Knowledge of submittal, RFI, and long-lead procurement workflows.
- Fluency with P6-driven schedules and earned-value or cost fundamentals.
- Risk and change process knowledge including notices, entitlement basics, and documentation.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Willingness to maintain significant site presence during peak construction and commissioning, up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Run weekly execution meetings, action logs, decision logs, and deliverable tracking.
- Clear blockers and escalate recommendations with trade-offs.
- Manage GC, EPC, consultant, and vendor performance against scope, milestones, and quality.
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, partner meetings, and long-lead equipment schedules.
- Identify scope creep and route changes through the change process.
- Maintain the risk register and own assigned mitigation actions.
- Support entitlement, pricing, forecasts, accruals, and invoice validation.
- Challenge progress claims and evaluate critical-path drivers.
- Produce weekly project status reports covering schedule, risks, decisions, and commitments.
- Represent the project in utility, AHJ, customer, and Managed Services coordination.
- Drive commissioning prerequisites, vendor scheduling, punch progress, and turnover documentation.
