About the Role
You will be the process and project management lynchpin of the Directed Content engine, defining research scope and angles for projects in Technology, Media & Telecoms and guiding the work of Analysts. You'll understand what expert profiles are most relevant to client interest in your sectors of coverage, leveraging Director of Research insights, Client Contributor feedback, user engagement data, and the AlphaSense platform to guide your understanding of what delivers the deepest and most relevant insights to Expert Transcript Library clients. You'll also ensure the day-to-day productivity of Analysts on your team, coaching them on sourcing strategies and ensuring their efforts yield high-quality results.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Technology, Media & Telecoms markets (Expert Insights), with a comprehensive understanding of the companies, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging themes shaping the sector
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions, comfortable leveraging tools such as AlphaSense and Tableau
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building strong relationships with Directors of Research, Client Contributors, and other stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Be the go-to expert in Technology, Media & Telecoms, staying ahead of key industry trends, companies, competitive dynamics, technological innovation, regulatory developments, and investment themes
- Launch and manage research projects across the Technology, Media & Telecoms landscape, aligned to client demand, sector priorities, emerging technologies, and evolving market dynamics
- Define research angles, expert criteria, and vetting questions to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Review and approve expert profiles, providing feedback to maintain a best-in-class expert network
- Run regular team huddles, track project progress, and manage workload allocation across Analysts
- Monitor project activity, scheduling, compliance, expert engagement, and key performance metrics
- Provide ongoing guidance, feedback, and support to elevate Analysts' sourcing quality and execution
- Collaborate closely with Directors of Research, Sector Leads, Client Contributors, and Contributor Relations teams to align on client needs and emerging opportunities
- Continuously refine knowledge resources, support onboarding, and help strengthen team-wide expertise within your coverage area
