Skills
About the Role
You'll build best-in-class financial products on traditional platforms like mobile and web, as well as within an agentic brokerage framework. You bring an AI lens to every decision rather than treating AI as a bolted-on feature. You'll move through ambiguity without waiting for someone to hand you structure, working in office a minimum of 4 days per week in New York City.
Requirements
- Experience at a brokerage or in investing markets, or deep personal activity in the markets
- Experience shipping AI-first products where AI is part of the core experience
- Sharp UX/UI instincts and ability to run a front-end-heavy project from kickoff to launch independently
- 4-8 years in product, consulting, or a related field at a startup, building high-quality consumer or financial products, with at least 2 years directly in product
- Ability to run the full product lifecycle — ideation, execution, analysis, iteration
- Clear communication skills, in writing and in person, with engineering, compliance, risk, operations, and go-to-market
Responsibilities
- Drive new investing products end-to-end — from idea to design, development, QA, and launch
- Align product goals across teams and set the priorities that keep delivery moving
- Own the product relationship with engineering — break down work, unblock issues, and drive efficiency
- Build and test go-to-market hypotheses, including user needs, target KPIs, positioning, and differentiators
- Track financial market trends, user sentiment, and competitor moves, and use them to shape what to build next
- Shape Public's broader roadmap, balancing speed, quality, and long-term customer impact
