About the Role
You will define the strategy, roadmap, and success measures for developer platform capabilities. You will conduct discovery with engineering teams, translate needs into requirements, align stakeholders, and partner with platform engineers and DevOps teams on delivery. You will lead platform adoption, monitor performance and feedback, and continuously improve the developer experience.
Requirements
- Product management experience with highly technical products
- Experience with platform engineering, developer tooling, DevOps, or infrastructure
- Knowledge of internal developer platform concepts and tooling
- Understanding of software development, cloud, DevOps, APIs, and the software development lifecycle
- Ability to discuss architecture, tooling trade-offs, and platform design with engineers
- Experience building a platform as a product and driving adoption
- Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to define success metrics, measure impact, and prioritize
Responsibilities
- Define and own product strategy for the platform
- Build and maintain a prioritized product roadmap
- Establish success metrics for platform performance and developer productivity
- Conduct discovery with engineering teams on developer needs and workflow friction
- Partner with platform engineers and DevOps teams on roadmap feasibility
- Align senior engineering and technology leadership around the platform vision
- Write requirements, manage trade-offs, and unblock platform delivery
- Define and execute the platform adoption strategy
- Track platform performance and developer feedback and iterate on improvements
