About the Role
You will own and develop the client-facing roadmap for surveillance detection products. You will define requirements for detection typologies, improve alert quality and explainability, prioritize coverage gaps, and turn client needs into scalable product capabilities. You will partner with Professional Services and Customer Success on onboarding and tuning, explain surveillance algorithms, and demonstrate new detection features to clients and prospects.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with trading experience at a Wall Street firm or work with trading systems at a large financial institution
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Finance, Computer Science, or Data Science preferred
- Knowledge of at least one asset class: crypto, fixed income, equities, derivatives, or FX
- Knowledge of financial charting, such as Bloomberg, TradingView, ChartIQ, or custom tick-level price and volume charts
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to handle complex operational tasks and recommend process and technology changes
Responsibilities
- Own the client-facing roadmap for surveillance detection, including algorithm typologies, asset-class and venue coverage, and enrichment data
- Write product requirements for new detection typologies from concept through production
- Improve alert quality by reducing false positives, clarifying alert rationale, and increasing explainability
- Translate sales and prospect coverage questions into prioritized algorithm and data work
- Partner with Professional Services and Customer Success on onboarding and tuning outcomes
- Convert recurring client requests into durable products
- Explain market surveillance algorithms and demonstrate new detection features to clients and prospects
