About the Role

You will own the design and visual building experience, including visual editing, content editing, design systems, and theming. You will lead end-to-end discovery, set the quality bar for AI-generated output, validate functionality through feedback and metrics, and support sales, support, and marketing with product context.

Requirements

• 6+ years in the software industry with product management or engineering leadership experience on design tools, visual editors, or creative platforms
• Deep understanding of design systems, theming, typography, and layout
• Experience designing in an AI-first context, including generative AI and visual quality at scale
• Understanding of how design tools and AI systems work
• Prior experience improving AI-generated output into designed experiences is preferred
• Strong opinions on AI design decisions on behalf of users are preferred

Responsibilities

• Represent users by bringing findings on design quality, visual editing workflows, and content creation patterns to the team
• Run end-to-end discovery through user interviews, competitive research, usability testing, data analysis, and feature messaging
• Own the design quality bar for consistent, on-brand AI-generated outputs
• Scope and ship functionality, validate it through user feedback and metrics, and remove what does not work
• Enable sales, support, and marketing with accurate context on design features
• Audit AI-generated visual output and define quality gaps
• Own the first iteration of a coherent theming and design system experience
• Research the visual editing workflows users rely on and identify where they break down
