About the Role

You will provide legal support to HR Apps product, engineering, and operations teams. You will identify regulatory risks, develop compliance resources, research employment law developments, resolve customer escalations, support vendor reviews and integrations, and draft and revise terms and go-to-market communications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of legal experience
  • Deep understanding of employment law and litigation
  • Experience providing legal guidance on employment obligations
  • Experience building compliance resources
  • Experience using AI tools
  • Ability to build consensus and working relationships
  • JD degree
  • Current membership and license to practice law in a State bar

Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical legal support to HR Apps product, engineering, and operations teams
  • Review product requirements and identify compliance and regulatory risks
  • Develop HR Apps compliance artifacts and maintain the compliance hub
  • Build AI-driven workflows, checklists, playbooks, and review frameworks
  • Research regulatory areas and monitor legislative changes
  • Resolve customer escalations and operational legal questions
  • Support vendor review, onboarding, partner integrations, and go-to-market communications
  • Draft and revise terms
