About the Role
You will lead the Procurement function across a $50M+ spend base, serving as a key business partner to Finance, Legal, Security, IT, and functional budget owners. You'll own the full procurement lifecycle across software, SaaS, cloud marketplace purchases, marketing, professional services, contractors, and other G&A categories. You'll work to improve spend visibility, reduce risk, drive savings, and streamline the purchasing experience, while shaping the long-term strategic sourcing roadmap and optimizing vendor relationships, contracts, and spend.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management, owning the full procurement lifecycle
- Experience implementing and managing procurement tools and contract management platforms (e.g., Tropic, Zip, Ironclad/Docusign)
- Experience with cloud marketplace procurement, committed-spend optimization, or alternative software buying channels
- Strong analytical and financial skill set, with the ability to evaluate spend data, build business cases, and translate analysis into clear recommendations
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of driving cost savings and value through complex agreements
- Deep expertise in system consolidation, technology budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management related to technology procurement
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with a dedication to high standards of operational excellence and data accuracy
Responsibilities
- Own the company's end-to-end procurement cycle including requirements gathering, commercial evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and PO execution
- Manage existing supplier and reseller relationships, renewals, and performance
- Partner with department leaders to anticipate, plan, and forecast purchasing needs in advance of renewals and new investments
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Legal, and IT Security to ensure a pain-free procurement process balanced with legal, commercial, and InfoSec protection
- Optimize cloud marketplace and alternative purchasing paths, including tracking committed-spend usage
- Identify and execute opportunities for savings, supplier consolidation, process simplification, improved contract terms, and better usage alignment
- Manage the company's procurement management tool and use data analytics and AI tools to drive better decisions and streamline workflows
- Improve spend visibility, renewal tracking, vendor performance monitoring, and procurement KPI reporting
