About the Role
You will define, document and maintain the architecture of the software stack, from firmware through ML frameworks. You will communicate architecture and changes to engineering teams, evaluate technology trends and validate concepts through prototypes. You will align architectural direction with product requirements, hardware and silicon architecture, engineering, product and partners.
Requirements
- Expertise in firmware, drivers, ML frameworks, collectives, HPC, tooling, C, C++, or CPU architectures
- Technical expertise in ML accelerator software
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence collaboratively
- Ability to make pragmatic, trade-off-aware decisions
- Experience in a previous architecture role
Responsibilities
- Define and document the software architecture of the software stack
- Ensure a coherent end-to-end architecture across software domains
- Communicate software architecture and architectural changes to engineering teams and stakeholders
- Maintain the software architecture as the product evolves
- Assess the architectural impact of new technologies
- Account for usability, performance, reliability, maintainability, testability, security and observability constraints
- Prototype and validate architectural concepts through proof-of-concept implementations
- Contribute to product definitions and communicate their architectural impact
- Work with hardware and silicon architects to meet software-stack needs
- Ensure software architecture meets product requirements
- Align architectural direction with engineering, product, leadership and partners
