About the Role
You will research machine-learning infrastructure and model the performance of systems running training and inference workloads. You will design rack-scale reference platforms, publish research and technical collateral, communicate research results, and lead a small group of machine-learning engineers.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 10 years of industry or research experience
- Machine-learning systems research experience
- Performance evaluation and modeling experience
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning methods
- Knowledge of large language model training and inference frameworks
- Academic publications
- Knowledge of AI compute and networking systems
- Experience leading a team to deliver published results
