About the Role
Plan, coordinate, and drive complex hardware programs through manufacturing planning, factory readiness, test readiness, engineering builds, and product qualification. Align engineering deliverables, manufacturing capabilities, suppliers, schedules, risks, testing, engineering changes, and cross-functional execution while resolving blockers and improving program-management processes.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience leading complex hardware system development programs through engineering builds and manufacturing readiness
- Experience working directly with ODM, JDM, or contract manufacturing partners
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, new product introduction, engineering build execution, and manufacturing readiness
- Experience delivering manufacturing test readiness, production test development, factory test implementation, and manufacturing validation
- Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, engineering change management, and cross-functional engineering execution
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary hardware, electrical, mechanical, firmware, validation, and manufacturing engineering teams
- Strong program planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and leadership-influence skills
Responsibilities
- Lead hardware programs through manufacturing planning, factory readiness, and engineering build execution
- Translate engineering requirements into manufacturing and engineering build plans
- Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations
- Manage technical engagement with ODM, JDM, and contract manufacturing partners
- Coordinate engineering build, factory, manufacturing test, and qualification readiness
- Coordinate production test hardware, software, fixtures, diagnostics, and procedures
- Ensure manufacturing test coverage, limits, and acceptance criteria support validation objectives
- Commission and qualify manufacturing processes, tooling, and test infrastructure
- Monitor engineering build progress and coordinate blocker resolution
- Coordinate engineering change implementation across development and manufacturing
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for engineering and manufacturing issues
- Monitor program risks and drive mitigation plans
- Develop reporting on build readiness, manufacturing readiness, schedules, risks, and delivery metrics
- Improve engineering operations, build execution, manufacturing readiness, and program-management processes
