About the Role
You will identify and close critical security gaps across infrastructure and services. You will set the vision and strategy for data security, attract talent, advocate for the security discipline with senior leaders, and represent security engineering at academic and industry events.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in data security or related areas
- Expertise in at least two of cryptography, Kubernetes security, web security, governance, privacy, trust, safety, authentication, identity management, access control, key management, inter-service authentication, secure application frameworks, or detection and response
- 15+ years of experience building highly available large-scale distributed systems
- Leadership experience across functional and organizational lines
- Strong communication skills for explaining and evangelizing data security to senior leaders
- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
