About the Role
You will validate new AI chips and platforms from pre-silicon testing through first-silicon bring-up. You will design and debug bare-metal tests, build Python automation and regression suites, analyse failures, improve validation methods, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and report project progress.
Requirements
- Understanding of machine learning applications and workloads
- Experience with bare-metal and embedded C and C++
- Problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills
- Ability to identify root causes across teams and programming languages
- Experience with post-silicon validation in digital ASIC environments
- Python knowledge
- Linux knowledge

Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and debug silicon validation tests in bare-metal C and C++ on FPGA and emulator platforms
- Deploy and debug validation tests on first silicon
- Develop automated test frameworks and regression suites in Python
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines
- Implement validation best practices and continuous test-methodology improvements
- Analyse test results and debug failures and defects
- Contribute to shared test and validation infrastructure
- Provide feedback to architects
- Report project status and progress to program management
- Provide technical guidance to engineering team members
