About the Role

You will define enterprise cloud architecture and platform standards on GCP, lead major cloud migrations and modernization initiatives, and design scalable self-service platforms. You will prototype solutions, guide technical decisions, improve security and cost efficiency, and mentor engineers and architects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field
12 years of enterprise and cloud architecture experience
5 years in a principal, lead, or equivalent technical leadership role
Google Cloud Platform expertise, including GKE, IAM, VPC design, and data services
Kubernetes, containers, microservices, distributed systems, and API experience
Infrastructure as Code and GitOps experience
Cloud security, observability, disaster recovery, backup, and FinOps experience

Responsibilities

Define and govern enterprise cloud architecture and cloud-native platform standards on GCP
Design provisioning, networking, and data architectures for hyperscale growth
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives to GCP
Build developer self-service platforms with guardrails and validation controls
Establish workload isolation, disaster recovery, and backup capabilities
Own cloud cost optimization and FinOps
Drive CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code capabilities
Mentor engineers and architects and lead architecture reviews
